Catholic School Council Met Last Week

It was a great opportunity to meet with our parent partners. We had a staff member from facility services that helped explain to us the process of moving forward with improvements to our Early Learning Play Space as well as updating our asphalt playing surface. He even took some questions about ways to improve the flow of traffic in the parking lot. We will be investigating some options going forward.

We also looked at what our Vision should be as a supportive Catholic School Council. We reviewed what was already happening, the great work being done by students and staff and the agreed upon a vision for Saint Peter Catholic School Council. At Saint Peter, we want to set the P.A.C.E. . We are not a school that wants to be catching up, but rather a school that is moving and setting the pace for others.  P.A.C.E. Contains the 4 priorities that are important to us as a community. They are as follows:

Navigating the Teen Years on April 10th

As part of supporting students and family wellness, Saint Peter is partnering with our family of schools to put on a FANTASTIC event to learn more about Navigating the Teen Years. There will be several speakers and facilitators to help all of us learn more about Supporting Anxious Teens, Cannabis, Sleep Hygiene and Problematic Gaming & Internet Use. This Session will take place At St. Benedict’s on Wednesday, April 10th at 6:30PM. ALL are Welcome.
